Here’s my comment on yours.
Man, I laughed ...Dave,
Here’s my comment on yours.

Man, I laughed out loud reading your first sentence! And that’s always a plus. True, it’s long! Anyhow, please, oh, please, write me an essay or poems using the words in your comment. I really would like something on your experience out there in CAL! And you have sent in the past such experiential poems. T G. And the workshop, where poets can gather in what bukowski called, poetry sewing circles. i see similar things in my neck of the woods. i.e. a relatively young poet, is ambitious has befriended tim green of rattle, he enrolled in an MFA program and posts pictures of he and his classmates on FB, everytime he gets a poem published, he posts that on FB along with a letter of thanks to the editor, but people like him and he willl certainly get readings and rewards. another sorry thing i notice is i get notifications offering critiques, for a fee a proffesional poet will review your work, but what can they really tell you? cut a word, develop this further, how to write like them, it makes me feel sorry for the poet, so hungry to have a "name" poet tell them they have potential, if they keep working at it, its sad. anyway well articulated piece, and hard to argue with.

davesdave1https://www.blogger.com/profile/08206320349649487114noreply@blogger.com
